Edward “Eddie” Crespo has extensive consumer insights experience with both the Hispanic and Youth markets. He has managed client services for major brands.

He has  help them tap into the powerful, complex and strategic  US Hispanic Market. His “professional mission in life” is to help companies understand, reach, and service this booming consumer market.

He has expertise in utilizing our best practices to create highly engaged communities that yield actionable insights for our clients. He manages the day-to-day community operations. By encouraging people to connect, share their ideas and experiences, he simultaneously empowers consumers and offers clients creative business solutions. Eddie has managed on-line market research communities for top tier brands such as Behr Paints, Chili’s, Unilever (Axe), Comcast, Nestlé, and Colgate.

Prior to Communispace, Eddie was at AMP Agency (a division of Alloy Marketing & Media) where, as a Multicultural Consumer Insights Strategist, he managed research and communications programs for MTV Tr3s, Honda, Heineken, and Reebok. There, he planned, built and executed two nationwide Latino Youth Consumer Panels and conducted numerous non-traditional focus groups and other qualitative research programs. His responsibilities included helping clients understand the value of building a solid consumer knowledge base to make informed marketing decisions and keeping them updated on industry trends.

Prior to AMP, Eddie worked in Research and Account Management at Hispanic Market Solutions, a multicultural marketing firm specializing in the New England Hispanic Market. He led numerous market research initiatives for clients such as Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, UPS New England, and Stoneham Bank. Previously, he was the Director of Marketing and Corporate Events at El Mundo Newspaper in Boston.

Eddie was first baptized into the world of advertising after working for more than four years in Guayaquil, Ecuador as a Key Account Executive for Saltiveri Ogilvy & Mather, in Guayaquil. There, he managed the launch of numerous nationwide advertising campaigns for Grupo Financiero Guayaquil, Ecuador’s second largest financial institution.

In his free time, Eddie enjoys listening to the rhythms and beats of Latin Jazz, playing golf and tennis, and striped bass fishing at numerous bridges and piers in and around Greater Boston.
